HI HO, hi ho, it’s off around town they go – albeit in a luxury Hummer rather than a traditional fairytale carriage.
The cast of this year’s Regent Theatre pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs got their first look at what will be their home from December 21 until 30.
“I haven’t been to Ipswich Regent since Tonight’s The Night in 2006, it’s very nice to be back,” said EastEnders and Dancing on Ice star Sam Attwater who plays Prince Charming.
Snow White Sapphire Elia, added: “I can’t wait. I’ve done Snow White before and loved every minute of it. I love panto and every family should go and see it, it’s part of the experience of Christmas.”
It’s a happier role, with a happier ending, for Sapphire, known to millions as Mia Macey from Emmerdale.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, presented by Enchanted Entertainment and Ipswich Borough Council, includes Blue Peter legend Peter Duncan who stars as Muddles as well as directing, Mighty Mites and Tikkabilla star Sarah-Jane Honeywell as Good Fairy plus a full supporting cast.
Tickets are available at www.ipswichregent.com, by calling the box office on 01473 433100 and from the Ipswich Regent Theatre and Ipswich Tourist Information Centre.
