Aldeburgh Food and Drink Festival
Snape Maltings, Suffolk, will host a full programme of workshops, demonstrations and masterclasses, and book signings, along with 90 exhibitors, running from 9.30am to 5pm tomorrow and 9.30am to 4pm on Sunday. There will then be around 50 fringe events running until October 11.

All About Dogs Show
Visitors to Hylands Park, Chelmsford, Essex, can expect a jam-packed programme of events tomorrow and Sunday.
Activities include non-stop demonstrations of agility, dock jumping, have-a-go games and competitions, stalls and the chance to pick up professional advice on grooming or behavioural advice from 9.30am to 5pm.

Woodbridge Vintage and Modern Market
Browse 50 stalls packed with a wide range of goods from local and regional traders from 9.30am to 4pm tomorrow at Market Hill and Shire Hall.
There will be vintage items alongside locally designed pieces including fashion, furniture and kitchenalia to jewellery, ceramics and homewares. There will also be a choice of local food and drink stalls serving up a taste of Suffolk.
The Snape Maltings Vintage Market is on October 11 and the Woodbridge Festive Market on December 12.
Anglia Factors Pasta Masterclass
Celebrity chef Paul Foster pops by the Anglia Factors’ Martlesham showroom from 10.30am to 12.30pm and 1pm to 3pm tomorrow.
He’ll serve up a selection of mouth-watering nibbles starting with salt cod croquettes, lavoche flat bread with chorizo jam and apple and truffled popcorn. He will then show guests how to make their own pasta from start to finish and discuss how to dry and store the pasta.
Paul will also demonstrate how to prepare a classic lemon and basil linguine as well as roast cornfed chicken leg with potato agnolotti, sweetcorn and leek fricassee.
The event is free but booking is encouraged. There will be a collection for St Elizabeth Hospice. See here for more details.

The Revolutionary Drawing Room Quartet -
Pro Corda invite you to a Viennese quartet party with the ensemble Leiston Abbey, Theberton - tonight 7.30pm. The quartet has appeared on BBC Radio 3 and released several CDs. The event starts at 7.30pm and includes music written by the likes of Mozart, Haydn and Vanhal. Tickets cost £20 and include fizz and canapes, which can be booked by calling 01728 831354.
Days Out with Thomas at Colne Valley Railway, Castle Hedingham, Essex
Thomas the Tank Engine and friends are waiting to meet you and the kids on Saturday and Sunday. Experience a ride on a real steam engine, shake hands with The Fat Controller and take part in Thomas-themed activities in the Imagination Station. Activities run from 9.30am to 5pm and tickets start at £14 for adults and £10 for kids if booked in advance, but go up slightly on the day. See here for more information.
Me and My Cat?
A Thousand Cranes adapt award-winning Japanese children’s author and illustrator Satoshi Kitamura’s book into a morning of family fun at the New Wolsey Studio, Ipswich. Detective K follows mysterious clues, golden rules and strange events to solve the mystery of how Nicholas became a cat. A fast-paced, action-packed story for ages five up, with the fun taking place at 11am Saturday. Tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for children and can be booked here.
Robert Castellani - St Peter’s by the Waterfront, Ipswich
Supporting the three-time guitarist of the year grand finalist is 12-year-old Isaac Dalglish. Suffolk guitarist Castellani arrives fresh from a show in Ireland with Newton Faulkner, a tribute to their tutor and hero Eric Roche - an artist he plans to feature heavily in this concert. The event takes place on Saturday at 7.30pm Tickets are £5 in advance or £6 on the door.
