Welsh rockers Feeder have been revealed as one of the headliners at this year’s LeeStock Music Festival.
They had 25 top 75 singles between 1997-2012, with Buck Rogers hitting the top five.
At their peak of their success the band won two Kerrang! Awards in 2001 and 2003 - for best British live act and later best British band.
Feeder play Saturday night. Sunday’s headliners are Reef and special guests Republica.
Reef’s big break came with their single Place Your Hands, which reached the top 10 in the UK charts and became an instant hit both here and in America.
It was also famously featured heavily on TFI Friday.
Republica dominated the charts in the 1990s and exploded back into the spotlight in 2013 with a new EP, UK tour and festival slots.
Singer Saffron, keyboardist Tim Dorney and guitarist Johnny Male rode the Britpop wave of female-fronted rock bands, injecting it with their self-dubbed techno-pop, punk rock sound.
They sold three million albums and clinched top five slots in the UK, America and Europe with platinum sales across the globe from 1996-1999. Hit single Ready to Go soared to number one in many countries.
Festival organiser Edd Keogh said: “LeeStock gets bigger and bigger each year and we’re delighted with the line-up in place.
“Last year the event sold out weeks before the festival, tickets are already selling faster than ever before so with this announcement we’re anticipating that this year selling out even quicker.”
The festival takes place May 26-27 in the grounds of stately home Melford Hall, in Long Melford.
Originally known as LeeFest, it has been held every year since 2006 in memory of a Lee Dunford.
The festival is one of a number of events that aims to raise the profile of and money for the Willow Foundation.
Since launching, LeeStock has now donated more than £100,000 to the national charity which provides special days to seriously ill young adults.
During the last five years, it has attacted acts as diverse as Toploader, Spaced, Scouting For Girls, The Hoosiers, Lucy Spraggon, Lightning Seeds, Terrorvison, Newton Faulkner and The Feeling.
