Five of the region's "most exciting" live bands are coming together for a special gig to support vulnerable women and children.
West Suffolk-based music promoters Washing Machine are seeing out their 10th anniversary year with a show in aid of Bury St Edmunds Women's Aid Centre.
The gig on Friday, December 10, at the Hunter Club in the town will be headlined by FLEAS and also feature performances by Glitchers, For the Hornets, Hex Friends and Supracelestials.
Bury St Edmunds-based punk quintet FLEAS were the winners of music competition BurySOUND 2020.
Seymour Quigley, live music events manager at Washing Machine and BurySOUND, said: "Everyone deserves to feel safe in their home, but not everyone does.
"Bury St Edmunds Women's Refuge provides a vital service, safeguarding women and children from domestic abuse: year after year, they literally save lives.
"So ahead of Christmas - which can be an extremely difficult time for people in a vulnerable position - five of the region's most exciting live bands - FLEAS, Glitchers, For the Hornets, Hex Friends and Supracelestials - are coming together to raise much-needed funding for the Women's Refuge."
The Christmas fundraiser gig is from 6-11pm and will take place in the venue's Green Room.
All Washing Machine shows are all ages (under-14s must be accompanied by a parent or carer). For tickets see here.
