Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap has committed the most fouls in the Premier League so far this season.

The combative striker, who was signed from Manchester City after three Championship loans, has been the surprise package in the top flight, scoring six goals and providing one assist.

On the flip side, his aggression can get the best of him, which has seen him commit 32 fouls in just 14 matches, ranking him ahead of Newcastle United's Joelinton (29), Bournemouth's Lewis Cook (28) and Joao Gomes of Wolves (27).

Delap has been booked three times so far this season. If he receives two more yellow cards before matchday 19 (at home to Chelsea on December 30th), he'll receive a one match ban.

Captain Sam Morsy, however, is even closer to a suspension, having picked up his fourth yellow card in the 2-2 draw against Aston Villa at the end of September. He's since gone seven games without one, playing 90 minutes in each, but has come incredibly close.

The Egyptian ranks fifth in the Premier League for fouls, having committed 26 in his 13 appearances.

As a team, Ipswich have committed an average 12.9 fouls per match - the third highest in the division behind Bournemouth (13.6) and Wolves (13.1), who they face in their next two games.

They also rank fourth for yellow cards, having received 36 so far this season, trailing only Chelsea (47), Southampton (44) and Leicester City (37).
