Ipswich Town returned to Portman Road with a 1-1 draw against Manchester United. Alex Jones provides his player ratings.

Arijanet Muric

Question marks over the opener. He had his hands out like he wanted to grab the ball but didn't get near it. Not necessarily his mistake, but not his finest moment. Made up for it with some good saves and improved distribution. Commanded his area well. 6

Axel Tuanzebe

Beaten for pace once by Alejandro Garnacho. It didn't happen again. Defended really well against the dynamic attacker, aside from a couple of moments. A strong display against his former club. 7

Dara O'Shea

Excellent. Had the most tackles in the game, won plenty of aerial duels and showed his pace in crucial moments. A largely imperious showing. 8

Cameron Burgess

Did everything he needed to. Wasn't really in frame for Man United's goal but stood tall against their attacking players throughout. 7

Leif Davis

Town didn't really get him into the game - just 35 touches, the fewest of any outfield player to complete the full 90. Couldn't get near Amad Diallo for the opener and allowed him carry the ball from deep. Did make some lung-busting runs to get back and defend in crucial moments. 6

Sam Morsy

Outshone Casemiro. Calm and disciplined on the ball and ferocious off it. Chased everything, battled hard to win balls. Some really slick passes to get Town going. 8

Jens Cajuste

Misjudged a tackle in the build-up to Man United's opener and failed to recover as Rashford went on to score. Bounced back well later in the game and was the calm presence in midfield that Ipswich needed. Could've scored with a dipping shot. 7

Wes Burns

A slow start with some disappointing deliveries but he grew into the game really well. Got the assist for the equaliser, although it didn't take much, and could've had a second with his cross for Liam Delap after the break. Some important defensive work too. 7

Omari Hutchinson

Finally has his goal. Did it take a deflection? Yes, but it shouldn't take away from what he did. A lovely spin past Casemiro before launching a curler into the top corner. Other than that, he was almost faultless on the ball, working out of tight areas and into space. Really good game management. Built on his man-of-the-match performance at Spurs. 8 (Man of the Match)

Sammie Szmodics

Worked really hard, often digging in to hold onto possession or win the ball. Didn't really have an impact in the final third aside from a couple of deflected efforts. 6

Liam Delap

Kept busy by Man United's back line. Dropped deep, battled hard and tried to find gaps, which was hard. When he did, he was met by Andre Onana, who made two excellent saves to deny him either side of the break. Could've easily had a brace. 7

Sub: Jack Taylor (65')

A fun player off the bench. Really got stuck in and tried to drive Ipswich forward against tired legs. 6

Sub: Jack Clarke (65')

A bit frustrating at time, but he's growing with somewhat limited minutes. Did well to create a late chance, which Town couldn't take. 6

Sub: Ali Al-Hamadi (81')

Clearly a bit rusty but ran his socks off for every second he was on the pitch. 6

Sub: Conor Chaplin (82')

Combined well with Jack Clarke late on but couldn't stab the ball past Onana to win the game. 6
