Ipswich Town last played Manchester United in September 2015, so Ross Halls takes a look at where the Blues' team from that game are now...
Mick McCarthy's side were drawn away to United in the third round of the Carabao Cup -and he made some interesting selections at Old Trafford.
The Blues were beaten 3-0 by Louis van Gaal's men, thanks to goals from Wayne Rooney, Andreas Pereira and Anthony Martial.
Let's find out where that starting XI are now...
BARTOSZ BIALKOWSKI
The Polish keeper made 178 appearances for Town and won the club’s Player of the Year award for three successive seasons.
Bialkowski retired from football this summer after five seasons at Millwall, having joined the Lions initially on loan from the Blues in the summer of 2019.
JOSH EMMANUEL
The academy graduate made a total of 29 appearances for Town before he left the club in 2019 to have spells at Bolton and Hull, but then sadly didn't play football for over a year due to a illness.
Emmanuel returned to football in 2023, where he had spells with Grimsby Town and Carlisle United. He is currently at Doncaster Rovers in League Two.
PIOTR MALARCZYK
The Polish defender struggled during his time at Portman Road, making just six appearances, before leaving the club to return to his homeland.
He is now back at his boyhood club Korona Kielce after spells at Cracovia and Piast Gliwice.
JOSH YORWERTH
The Welshman made just three appearances for Town, scoring one goal during his one season the club, before signing for Crawley Town and then a spell at Peterborough United.
Yorwerth was given a four-year ban from playing football in 2019, after avoiding a drugs test, but returned to the game in 2022. He signed for Welsh top-flight side Barry Town United this summer after spells with Penybont and Merthyr Town.
JONNY PARR
The Norwegian made 43 appearances for Town, scoring three goals during his time at the club. He left the Blues to return to his homeland with Strømsgodset in January 2016.
Parr made over 100 appearances for them, before he retired from football in 2022. He is the founder and head of analysis at Rebil, which is a car selling company in Norway.
TOMMY OAR
The Australian was making his debut for the Blues after signing from Dutch side FC Utrecht, but he made just a further five appearances, before leaving the club to return to his homeland at the start of 2016.
Oar subsequently played for A-League side Brisbane Roar, Central Coast Mariners and Macarthur FC, as well as Cypriot side APOEL FC. He retired from football in 2022 and went on to work for Sony Music, but now works at Optus Sport as a TV pundit.
KEVIN BRU
The midfielder spent four seasons at Town, making over 100 appearances for the Blues, before leaving the club in 2018 to have spells in Cyprus and Romania.
Bru has been without a club since the start of 2024 after leaving Icelandic side ÍBV. He is back in France, where he has started his coaching journey with Paris FC. He hasn't made an official announcement on hanging up his boots just yet.
JAY TABB
The midfielder made 85 appearances during his four season at Portman Road, but retired from football at the age of 32 after leaving Town in 2016.
Tabb has since worked as a builder, played amateur rugby union, caddied on the Ladies’ European Tour, became a jockey and is now a full-time stable lad for racehorse trainer Philip Hobbs.
DARYL MURPHY
The Irishman scored 67 goals in over 200 games for the Blues, before departing for Newcastle United for £3 million in the summer of 2017.
Murphy went on to have spells at Nottingham Forest and Bolton, before finishing his career at boyhood club Waterford in 2021.
DAVID MCGOLDRICK
The forward spent five years at Town, scoring 45 goals, before leaving the club to join Sheffield United, where he went on to play in the Premier League for the Blades.
McGoldrick returned to his boyhood club Notts County last summer, dropping divisions, having scored 25 goals for Derby County in 2022/23.
