Ipswich Town U18s have been drawn away against AFC Bournemouth in the third round of the FA Youth Cup.
The young Blues will be hoping to progress further this season after they lost 2-1 against Swansea City in the third round at Portman Road last year.
They reached the quarter-finals in 2022/23, losing 4-2 at home to eventual winners West Ham United after extra-time.
Town are currently in the process in appointing a new U18s manager after Olly Lee departed the club to join Norwich City to work with their U21s set-up.
The two sides face each other in the league at Playford Road tomorrow morning, with the Cherries sitting second in the Professional Development League Two South, while Town are seventh after 12 games played so far.
The Youth Cup tie, scheduled to take place at the Vitality Stadium, must be played before December 16, with a date to be set in due course.
Town have won the FA Youth Cup on three occasions - in 1973, 1975 and 2005.
