Ipswich Town goalkeeper Cieran Slicker has been named in Scotland's senior squad for the first time in his career.

The 22-year-old, who joined the Blues back in the summer of 2023 from Manchester City, has been a regular for Scotland's Under-21s side. He was the first-choice shot-stopper in their EURO U21 qualifying matches - where they ultimately fell short - captaining the side.

Despite the fact that he's yet to feature in a league game for Ipswich, Steve Clarke has promoted him to the senior squad for their upcoming games in Nations League A.

They begin with a home game against Croatia on Friday, November 15th (7:45pm) before facing Poland in Warsaw on Monday, November 18th (7:45pm).

Scotland currently sit bottom of Group 1 with just one point from four games. They'll need to finish above Poland to avoid automatic relegation to Nations League B.

Slicker recently returned from injury, having missed Scotland U21s' last set of fixtures.
