Ipswich Town were left heartbroken by Leicester City's late equaliser at Portman Road as their wait for a Premier League win goes on. Alex Jones provides his player ratings.

Arijanet Muric

Really good until the equaliser went in. Commanded his area well and made some good saves. Couldn't have done any better for the goal, but his confidence vanished in stoppage time when Leicester pushed for a winner. 7

Ben Johnson

His best performance of the season so far. Showed a huge improvement on what we saw against Manchester City and West Ham. The odd nervy moment against Stephy Mavididi, but largely held his own while also contributing going forward. 7

Dara O'Shea

Calm on the ball, limited Leicester to very little going forward until the end. Unsurprisingly, looked a little nervous in stoppage time, but a good performance overall. Really should've done much better with his first-half header. 7

Cameron Burgess

Passes were a little all over the place, but his work off the ball was good. Made a vital block on the line in the 86th minute to prevent a goal, but obviously it didn't count for much in the end. 7

Leif Davis

Created chances, ran his socks off and scored an excellent goal. Handled Abdul Fatawu really well on his 100th Town appearance. 8 (Man of the Match)

Sam Morsy

Was involved in everything. Oustanding on the ball for the most part, up until the end where he carried it forward and gave it away. He didn't have the legs to track back, and it ended with Leicester's late equaliser. 7

Kalvin Phillips

Pretty good on the ball, but his tackles were off, either missing the player and the ball or giving away a foul. He was far too sloppy for the ones he gave away. Both were late, both were clear yellow cards and the red card was totally fair. It changed the whole game. Even though it should've been a penalty for the shove on Chaplin, he can't run the risk. 5

Omari Hutchinson

Looks like his best position is clearly on the right. Ran Leicester’s defence ragged at times with pace and precision. Created chances but lacked that cutting edge to score himself. His strongest performance of the season. 8

Conor Chaplin

Had quite a few great chances to score and came really close. Looked excellent, popping up in little pockets of space to create and threaten. Should’ve won a penalty in the second half. 7

Sammie Szmodics

Flashed a header over the crossbar. A couple of nice moments, but not enough. Too quiet. 5

Liam Delap

Just so, so good on the ball. Lovely twists and turns. Wasn’t as much of a threat today, but did everything else to bring others into play around him. 7

Sub: Jack Clarke (74')

No real impact off the bench, which wasn’t helped by the red card. 5

Sub: George Hirst (75')

Battled hard and tried to wind the clock down. He’s the perfect striker for that. 6

Sub: Jens Cajuste (81')

Booked for a tactical foul. Didn’t really plug the Phillips-shaped hole, but that was a hard position to step into. 6

Sub: Wes Burns (81')

Shrugged off the ball far too easily for the equaliser. Needed to do far, far better, even if it meant giving away a foul. 5
