Ipswich Town Women smashed MK Dons 13-0 in Felixstowe this afternoon.

Sophie Peskett scored four and there were doubles from Maisy Barker and Lucy O'Brien, plus strikes from Leah Mitchell, Eloise King, Natasha Thomas and Issy Bryant.

In the ninth minute, Town got their first as Peskett rifled the ball past the MK keeper from just outside the six-yard box.

Peskett got her second of the game in the 16th minute when she got the ball on the wing before cutting inside and playing it beyond the advancing goalkeeper.

Mitchell got Town's third just four minutes later as a corner came in from the left and the keeper spilled the ball into the Town defender's path whose shot snuck in to the bottom corner.

Peskett completed her hat-trick in the 26th minute as O'Brien got clear before playing it across goal to the Town winger who had time to pick her spot.

Town's fifth came in the 30th minute as Thomas, who made her international debut for Jamaica midweek against France, snuck the ball past the keeper from inside the six-yard box.

Peskett scored her fourth in the 32nd minute following another goal mouth scramble from a corner.

Town's seventh came in the 37th minute as left back Barker took aim from range on the edge of the area, and the ball flew into the top far corner of the goal.

They scored their eighth as Barker got her second with another screamer. She took aim from outside the edge of the area and the ball flew into the roof of the net.

Town scored their ninth in the 63rd minute as the ball was on the line before the defender attempted to clear, but it hit the MK goalkeeper and went into the back of the net.

Town's 10th came in the 66th minute as O'Brien smashed the ball into the roof of the net.

O'Brien got her second and Town's 11th of the game as she was at the end of Barker's cross to finish beyond the keeper.

Substitute King made it 12 for Town as she turned her defender before firing low under the keeper into the back of the net.

Goal number 13 came in the 89th minute through Bryant who fired it in low.
