Ipswich Town have appointed Lowestoft Town boss Jamie Godbold as their new 'Coach Development Manager'.
The former Stoke youth team player made more than 500 appearances for the Trawlerboys, helping them reach the FA Vase Final in 2008.
He returned to become the Suffolk club's manager in 2018 and guided them to the Isthmian League Division One North title last season.
The 44-year-old will stay on at Crown Meadow in a Director of Football role.
A Lowestoft Town spokesperson said: "While we are all gutted to be losing Jamie, this was too good an opportunity for him to miss."
Former Lowestoft keeper and assistant manager Andy Reynolds has been appointed as the club's new first team manager.
Godbold will, however, take charge of one more game, a home match against Harborough Town this Saturday.
