Ipswich Town have had seven games moved for their upcoming run of festive fixtures in the Premier League.

The Blues' home game against Crystal Palace will remain on Tuesday, December 3rd. However, the kick-off time has been brought forward from 7:45pm to 7:30pm, which will allow it to be streamed on Amazon Prime.

Their next opponents after that - AFC Bournemouth - are due to play against Tottenham Hotspur on the Thursday evening. As a result, Town will host the Cherries at 2pm on Sunday, December 8th, although this will not be shown live in the UK.

The big change comes a few weeks later, where the Boxing Day trip to Arsenal is no longer. That match has been moved to Friday, December 27th, with a new kick-off time of 8:15pm. Like the Crystal Palace clash, it'll be shown live on Amazon Prime.

There are three occasions in the 21st century when Ipswich haven't played on Boxing Day. In 2020, a Covid-19 outbreak in the squad saw their home game against Northampton Town postponed. The same thing happened 12 months later when Gillingham reported numerous cases ahead of the scheduled game at Priestfield Stadium.

The last time it happened before then was in 2010, when their clash against Watford was called off due to a frozen pitch at Portman Road.

As a result of the change, the home game against Chelsea will now be played at 7:45pm on Monday, December 30th. As things stand, it has not been selected for TV coverage.

Ipswich's first game of 2025 - away at Fulham - has now been moved to Sunday, January 5th, with kick-off scheduled for 2pm. It'll be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

TNT Sports have selected coverage for the subsequent home game against Brighton, which has been moved to Thursday, January 16th, with kick-off at 7:30pm.

Finally, Town's clash against champions Manchester City has been selected for the Sky Sports 'Super Sunday' slot, meaning that it'll kick off at 4:30pm on Sunday, January 19th.
