Four Ipswich Town players earned international caps as the Republic of Ireland lost 2-0 to Greece in Nations League B.
Dara O'Shea started at right-back with Chiedozie Ogbene just ahead of him, while Sammie Szmodics played over on the left flank.
The hosts dominated the game at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium but couldn't find a breakthrough before half time, having had 74% possession and taken 13 shots to Ireland's two.
The opener did come just three minutes into the second half as captain Anastasios Bakasetas sweapt the ball into the net from the edge of the area. That prompted Heimir Hallgrímsson to make changes to his side before the hour-mark, with Ogbene coming off for Town midfielder Jack Taylor to make his debut.

Taylor had a big impact. In the 69th minute, he connected with a cross from the right, diverting the ball at goal with a diving header from the edge of the area. It forced shot-stopper Odisseas Vlachomidos into action, tipping the ball over the bar from the edge of the area.
The 26-year-old was involved again late on during a scramble in the box. He failed to make contact with the initial shot but scooped his second effort up and into the gloves of the goalkeeper.
In stoppage time, Greece wrapped up the game as substitute Petros Mantalos scored from the left side of the box. With the match ending 2-0, they extend their run in the Nations League to four wins from four, while Ireland sit third in the group with three points.
It means that the Boys in Green are unable to contend for promotion to Nations League A. If they finish above Finland, who've lost all four of their games so far, they'll enter the relegation play-offs. If they end up bottom, they'll be relegated to Nations League C.
Ogbene now has 24 senior caps to his name while Szmodics, who played 73 minutes in Piraeus, has eight. O'Shea, on the other hand, managed 82 minutes last night, which was his 30th cap.
International duty is now over for the quartet, who look set to return to Suffolk injury free ahead of Saturday's game against Everton.
Elsewhere, Arijanet Muric was an unused substitute for Kosovo as they earned a 2-1 win away against Lithuania in Nations League C. The goalkeeper could return to their starting lineup tomorrow night (7:45pm), when they host Cyprus.
Wes Burns and Nathan Broadhead could be given minutes this evening (7:45pm) as Wales host Montenegro in Nations League B.
Cameron Burgess' Australia will be in World Cup qualifying action against Japan tomorrow the morning (11:10am), while Omari Hutchinson could feature for England Under-21's in their dead-rubber against Azerbaijan in the evening (7:30pm). Liam Delap is suspended for that game after picking up too many yellow cards.
The Young Lions secured qualification for next summer's Euro U21 tournament thanks to results elsewhere yesterday.
