Ipswich Town midfielder Massimo Luongo has withdrawn from the Australia squad for the upcoming international break with an ankle injury.
The 32-year-old had come out of international retirement for the latest set of games, but the Socceroos said they were told on Friday that he was injured.
He joins Connor Metcalfe in being replaced in the squad due to injury, with Luke Brattan and Patrick Yazbek getting called up instead.
