GEORGE EDMUNDSON

The defender featured for Middlesbrough as they won 1-0 at West Brom to knock them off top spot in the Championship. 

Edmundson played the full 90 minutes for Michael Carrick's side, who scored the first away goal at The Hawthorns for almost six months via Hayden Hackney. 

Boro move into the top six and return to action when they travel to Watford on Saturday. 

MARCUS HARNESS

The attacker featured for Derby County as they lost 2-0 at Sunderland, who went top of the the second tier. 

Harness was making his full debut for Paul Warne's side, who suffered three straight defeats and sit 13th in the table. 

The Rams will look to return to winning ways when they host QPR on Saturday. 

 

 

RYAN CARR

The young midfielder will have a new manager at Gateshead following the departure of Rob Elliot to Crawley Town. They have named Ben Clark as their interim manager. 

Carr featured for the Tynesiders, who started their National League Cup campaign with a 1-0 home win over Middlesbrough U21s. 

They switch their focus back to league action when they host Wealdstone on Saturday. 

CAMERON HUMPHREYS

The midfielder featured for Wycombe Wanderers as they drew 2-2 with Barnsley at Oakwell in League One. 

Humphreys came on as a 76th minute sub for Matt Bloomfield's side, who looked to have won the game five minutes from time but they conceded a 89th minute equaliser to share the points. 

The Chairboys return to action when they host Crawley at Adams Park on Saturday. 

ELKAN BAGGOTT 

The defender wasn't involved for Blackpool as they conceded a 95th minute goal to draw 1-1 with ten-man Lincoln City in the third tier. 

Baggott still recovering from an ankle injury he suffered in August, with Steve Bruce's side now unbeaten in his opening five games in charge. 

The Seasiders return to action when they travel to Mansfield Town on Saturday. 

EX-BLUES CORNER

James Wilson was among the scorers for Bristol Rovers as they beat Charlton Athletic 3-2 at the Memorial Stadium in League One.
