Ipswich Town picked up a point at the Amex Stadium, drawing 0-0 against Brighton & Hove Albion. Alex Jones provides his player ratings.

Arijanet Muric

From zero to hero. Made two mistakes against Manchester City, had a difficult situation with Kosovo on international duty, but returned here with an absolutely superb performance against Brighton. Made six saves in total, with his double-stop to deny Georginio Rutter and Kaoru Mitoma the clear stand-out. Commanded his area incredibly well. 9 (Man of the Match)

Axel Tuanzebe

Really strong one-v-one against Mitoma. The Japanese winger had his moments but found it really tough up against the former Manchester United man. Singled out by Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler after the match for his pace and defending. Easily would've been Man of the Match if not for Muric. 8

Dara O'Shea

Excellent on his first Premier League start for Ipswich. Strong in the air and really fast against Brighton's dynamic forward line. 8

Jacob Greaves

His strong tackle on Rutter stood out, but it was just one part of a well-rouned performance. Put his head where it hurt and looked physically dominant. 8

Leif Davis

Was tasked with defending Yankuba Minteh, who tried to isolate him out wide but struggled to really find any space. The left-back left him with little space but, as a result of the tough battle, he couldn't get up the pitch very much. Great defensive performance. 8

Sam Morsy

Picked up an early booking, his third of the season, and was probably fortunate to avoid a red. Ipswich allowed him to get a bit overrun at times but he more than held his own for the majority of it. 7

Kalvin Phillips

Looks fully up to speed now and put in a really brilliant shift. Started counters, shrugged opponents off the ball ease and often ended up running the show in midfield. 8

Wes Burns

Great to see him back, but didn't have much to do in this game. A couple of good runs up against Jack Hinshelwood but struggled to find space to do damage against Brighton's back line. Good shift but looked tired in the latter stages of his time on the pitch. 6

Omari Hutchinson

Not given too much space but had some superb touches to beat defenders and play the ball forward. Will feel frustrated that he didn't score after an excellent run from deep. 7

Sammie Szmodics

Didn't look quite as sharp today, probably not helped by a busy international break. A tough game for him - just nine touches. 6

Liam Delap

Battled hard but had little to work with. Created something from nothing with a brilliant run from deep where he smacked the post. His power is frightening when Ipswich can get him on the ball. 7

Sub: Chiedozie Ogbene (59')

Some good defensive moments but looked particularly sharp on the ball. Some excellent first touches. 6

Sub: George Hirst (59')

Brilliant to have him back on the pitch. Got into good areas and held the ball up the pitch when Brighton were looking for a winner. 6

Sub: Jack Clarke (59')

So much fun to watch bursting down the left and cutting inside. Should've done better with his shot from distance. 6
