Former Ipswich Town loanee Andros Townsend has finally completed his move away from Luton Town after Turkish side Antalyaspor had their transfer registration embargo lifted.

The 33-year-old winger signed a contract with the Süper Lig club in August but FIFA had banned them from registering players.

Townsend was able to train with his new team-mates but could not play or be officially announced as an Antalyaspor player.

He joined the Hatters as a free agent in October last year, where made 31 appearances for them as they were relegated from the Premier League.

The former England international now joins the Scorpions, who finished tenth in the Turkish top flight last season. He has signed a two-year deal.

Townsend spent the first half of the 2010/11 season at Portman Road on loan from Spurs, making 16 appearances for the Blues and netting one goal.

Since then, Townsend has played for the likes of Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Everton, while also winning 13 caps for England and scoring three goals.
