The world's best cyclists have crossed the finish line in Felixstowe, bringing an end to 2024's Lloyds Bank Tour of Britain. 

The sixth and final stage of the UK's most prestigious cycling event took place in Suffolk on Sunday. 

It is the seventh time the event has come to Suffolk, but the first time the final stage has taken place in the county.

The cyclists started in Lowestoft at 11am and their route took them through Beccles, Framlingham, Saxmundham, Aldeburgh, Woodbridge and Martlesham before reaching the finish line on Felixstowe seafront.

Matevz Govekar, of Slovenia, won the final stage of the tour, while Welsh cyclist Stephen Williams secured the top spot overall.

At various points, the riders went through the vast countryside of East Suffolk.

The cyclists reached the finish line at Felixstowe around 2:30pm.

Matevz Govekarn, of Slovenia, won the final stage of the tour, while Welsh cyclist Stephen Williams secured the top spot overall.
