Ipswich Town duo Liam Delap and Arijanet Muric have received August award nominations from the Premier League.

Delap is a candidate for Goal of the Month, with his stunning strike against Fulham recognised. The 21-year-old picked up a ball from Leif Davis and ran from left to right, shrugging off Andreas Pereira before rifling a powerful effort into the top left corner.

The striker faces fierce competition, with Mateo Kovacic (Manchester City), Yves Bissouma (Tottenham Hotspur), Jarrod Bowen (West Ham), Cole Palmer (Chelsea), Luis Diaz (Liverpool), Jean-Ricner Bellegarde (Wolves) and Yukinari Sugawara also nominated.

Muric is also up for a prize, having been nominated for the Save of the Month award.

The goalkeeper may feel frustrated by his performance against former club Manchester City, but he pulled out a stunning stop to deny Erling Haaland’s header in the second half of the defeat at the Etihad Stadium.

Muric is up against David Raya (Arsenal), Mark Flekken (Brentford), Alphonse Areola (West Ham) and Ederson (Man City). You can watch the six saves and choose your favourite here.

Voting for both awards will close at 12:00 BST on Monday, September 9th. The fan vote will be combined with a panel’s decision to choose the winner.
