Ella Rutherford came off the bench to score twice for Ipswich Town Women as they continued their unbeaten start with a comeback 2-2 draw with Exeter City at St James Park this afternoon.
Joe Sheehan's side went into this game off the back of their 4-0 East Anglian derby day win at Norwich in the FA WNL Cup on Thursday.
Town had to come from behind to secure a point in Devon, with the hosts opening the scoring in the 32nd minute when Sophie Gillies took advantage of a defensive error from Town and slotted the ball past keeper Natalia Negri.
The Grecians made it 2-0 in the 51st minute when Gillies was again the scorer after slotting the ball past Negri into the bottom corner in the 51st minute.
