Ipswich Town picked up their first point of the Premier League season with a 1-1 draw against Fulham. Alex Jones provides his player ratings from Portman Road.
Arijanet Muric
Some good saves and held his own inside the box when Fulham tried to flood it. Some nice passes too, but his distribution still needs a bit of work. Nothing he could've done about the equaliser. 7
Axel Tuanzebe
A few sloppy moments. He'll probably be frustrated by the equaliser and he got an earful from Sam Morsy for spending too long on the ball in the first half, but he was good other than that. Got stuck in with plenty of tackles. 7
Luke Woolfenden
Really good physically, clearing a lot of Fulham's crosses out of the box. Good on the ball when playing out from the back too. 7
Jacob Greaves
Just a monster in the air. Like Woolfenden, he cleared any high crosses out of the danger zone and could've easily scored up the other end too. 8
Leif Davis
Has his first assist of the season, even if Liam Delap did a lot of the work. A few uncomfortable moments against Adama Traore but mostly held his own, showing the attacking side of his game throughout the game. 8
Sam Morsy
Deserves big praise for his work on and off the ball, but also how he organised the team and got them into a really good shape. A really strong performance. 8
Kalvin Phillips
Big improvement on his debut at AFC Wimbledon in midweek. Physical in midfield, but it was his passing that stood out. Showed that Premier League experience and looked really comfortable. More to come. 7
Chiedozie Ogbene
Got into some great positions and showed his pace down the right. The wing-back role didn't seem to suit him at Luton Town, but he showed that it could be perfect for him at Portman Road, particularly when Ipswich come up against strong wingers. 7
Sammie Szmodics
Not as lively as he was at the Etihad Stadium but still linked up play nicely and got into some good areas. Needed to pull the trigger a little bit more at times, but played the fluid no.10 role really well. 7
Omari Hutchinson
A clear candidate for Man of the Match. He was quite quiet in Town's first two games but came to life here, causing Fulham's back line all sorts of issues. Like Szmodics, needed to be a bit quicker to shoot at times but could've easily had a couple of goals to his name, forcing Bernd Leno into a good save at the death. 8
Liam Delap
Impressed against Liverpool in the opener and took his game to a whole new level against Fulham. Bullied the opposition at times and scored a stunning goal to give his side a point. Fast, physical, fantastic. Arguably the best player on the pitch. 8 (Man of the Match)
Sub: Jens Cajuste (71')
Picked up where Phillips left off. Handled the pace of the Premier League very well on his debut. 6
Sub: Ali Al-Hamadi (81')
Didn't have much to work off but chased absolutely everything at the end. 6
Sub: Jack Clarke (81')
Created space on the left against a tired left-back. Came close with a curling shot late on. 6
Sub: Conor Chaplin (88')
