CAMERON HUMPHREYS

The midfielder came off the bench and scored on his Wycombe Wanderers debut as they beat Rotherham United 2-0 at Adams Park in League One.

Humphreys, dubbed 'Suffolk Messi' on Wycombe's social media, struck with 20 minutes remaining when he did brilliantly to turn the Millers’ defence inside out, before hitting an unstoppable drive beyond the keeper.

He was voted man of the match by the Chairboys fans as Matt Bloomfield's side secured their first league win of the season.

They now switch their focus to cup action as they travel to Swansea City in the second round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday evening. 

ELKAN BAGGOTT

The defender played the full 90 minutes and was booked for Blackpool as they drew 4-4 with Cambridge United in the third tier. 

Former Town defender Richard Keogh was taking charge of his first game as interim head coach of the Seasiders, who were 4-1 in front but the U's hit back with three goals to share the points at the Abbey. 

Baggott will look to help his side progress in the Carabao Cup as they travel to Blackburn Rovers in the second round on Tuesday evening. 

FINLEY BARBROOK

The young midfielder featured for Sutton United as they were held to a 2-2 draw with York City in the National League. 

Barbrook was making his home debut for the U's as they maintained their unbeaten start to their fifth tier campaign. 

Steve Morison's side return to action when they travel to top of the table Eastleigh tomorrow, who are managed by former Town goalkeeper Kelvin Davis. 

 

 

OSMAN FOYO

The young forward played the full 90 minutes for Chelmsford City as they lost 2-0 at Weston-super-Mare in the National League South. 

Robbie Simpson's side are now without a win in their opening four games but the Clarets will look to secure their first victory when they return to action at home to Chippenham Town on Monday afternoon.

CHARLIE BINNS

The young goalkeeper played the full 90 minutes for Bishop's Stortford as they drew 2-2 with Stamford in the Southern League Premier Division Central.

Steve Smith's side were 2-0 in front but let their lead slip to share the points with the league leaders. 

Binns will look to help his side get back to winning ways when they travel to Bedford Town tomorrow.

EX-BLUES CORNER

- Tom Lawrence was among the scorers for Rangers as they thrashed Ross County 6-0 at Hampden in the Scottish Premiership.

- Matt Clarke opened the scoring for Middlesbrough as they drew 2-2 with Portsmouth in the Championship. 

- Will Keane netted for Preston North End as they beat Luton Town 1-0 at Deepdale as new manager Paul Heckingbottom made a winning start in the second tier. 

- Louie Barry scored his third goal in a row for Stockport County as they as they beat Bristol Rovers 2-0 at home to maintain their 100% record in League One.

- Joe Pigott notched for AFC Wimbledon as they won 1-0 at Cheltenham Town in League Two. The former striker is on loan at the Dons from Leyton Orient. 

- Matt Ward scored his first goal for Woking as they won 3-0 at Ebbsfleet United in the National League.
