Ipswich Town midfielder Cameron Humphreys is set for a League One loan spell.
The EADT and Ipswich Star understands the Blues have accepted offers from Peterborough and Wycombe as the 20-year-old prepares for his first spell away from Portman Road.
Wycombe, managed by Suffolk-based former Town player Matt Bloomfield, finished 16th in the third-tier last season.
Peterborough, managed by Darren Ferguson, will be looking for another promotion tilt after losing in the play-off semi-finals to Oxford.
Academy graduate Humphreys has made 24 starts and 15 sub appearances for his boyhood club, earning plenty of praise from manager Kieran McKenna whenever called upon.
The Blues now have boosted options in the two positions Humphreys has covered in recent seasons though.
Conor Townsend has come in to provide back-up to Leif Davis at left-back, while Kalvin Phillips arrived on loan from Man City yesterday to boost the midfield depth. Town are also closing in on the loan addition of Swedish international midfielder Jens Cajuste from Napoli.
