Ipswich Town Women have made their seventh signing of the summer as exciting young striker Isabella Fisher joins on a dual registration deal from Arsenal.
The 17-year-old scored 13 goals in just 10 games as the Gunners’ U16s went unbeaten in their FA Girls' England Talent Pathway League.
Fisher was part of the England U17 squad which finished as runners-up in this summer’s UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship.
She netted a nine-minute hat-trick in her side’s group stage victory over Sweden and becomes the latest Arsenal youngster to join the Blues following the likes of Ruby Doe and Freya Godfrey.
Manager Joe Sheehan said: “Isabella is a really promising young centre-forward who is very highly regarded at Arsenal.
"She has had some great experiences over the last year with England and has scored a lot of goals to help them qualify for the World Cup later this year in the Dominican Republic.
“She is a strong player, has good variety in her play and we’re thankful Arsenal have trusted us to help develop her over the season.
“We’re really excited to work with her and we think she will have a really positive impact on our squad over the course of the season.”
Fisher joins the list of signings this summer which include Angela Addison, Grace Garrad, Shauna Guyatt, Charlotte Fleming, Ella Rutherford and Natalia Negri.
She could make her debut this weekend as the Blues open their FAWNL Premier Division season away at Oxford United on Sunday afternoon.
