Ipswich Town defender Corrie Ndaba has re-joined Kilmarnock on a permanent deal.

The 24-year-old joined the Blues' academy in 2016, progressing to the first team three years later. He was sent out on loan seven times, with recent spells at Salford City, Burton Albion and Fleetwood Town.

He spent last season at Rugby Park as Killie qualified for the Europa League, finishing fourth in the Scottish Premiership.

They played out a 1-1 draw against Cercle Brugge in their second-round qualifier last week, needing a positive result in Belgium on Thursday to progress in the competition.

Kilmarnock had pushed to get the deal done before the first leg but weren't able to do so, although Ndaba will be able to play when the two sides meet again.

He becomes the third player to be sold by Town this summer after Gassan Ahadme and Idris El Mizouni joined Charlton Athletic and Oxford United respectively, while Dom Ball, Kayden Jackson, Panutche Camara and Vaclav Hladky all departed the club at the end of their contracts.

The one-time Republic of Ireland youth international never made a league appearance for Town, only ever featuring in the Carabao Cup or EFL Trophy at senior level. In total, he played 37 times for them in all competitions.
