Ipswich Town left-back Leif Davis says the team has been using this week's training camp in Austria to prepare for a specific Premier League challenge.
The Blues are back in the top flight following successive promotions, with the vast majority of the squad having never played at that level before.
It will be a baptism of fire. The big kick-off against Liverpool, at Portman Road, is just a month away, with a trip to four-in-a-row champions Manchester City coming the weekend after.
Asked what the players were currently working on, Davis said: "The way we're going to play against the press this year.
"We know it's going to be another step up with the level of talent and experience in the Premier League, and how well coached all the teams are.
🗣️ "We're enjoying it."

"We know it's going to be intense and we have got to be prepared for that the best we can. Hopefully we can adapt to it quickly."
Town have made four signings this summer in Omari Hutchinson (Chelsea, £18m), Ben Johnson (West Ham, free), Jacob Greaves (Hull, £15m) and Liam Delap (Man City, £15m).
The Blues are also close to announcing the addition of goalkeeper Arijanet Muric for £8m from Burnley.
"It's hot, it's been tough, but we're enjoying it," said Davis, reflecting on this week's training camp so far.
"It's good to get away with the new lads and get them involved nice and early. Jacob and Liam are two great additions and hopefully we can see what they're all about in the game later this week."
Ipswich will face Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk in two 60 minutes matches at the Sportzentrum Landskron (Villach, Austria) on Saturday afternoon (1pm BST kick-off).
The Blues will conclude their pre-season with a game against French side Nice, at Portman Road, on Saturday, August 10 (12.30pm).
