Hull City are reportedly set to sign Bournemouth striker Kieffer Moore following his recent goalscoring form for Ipswich Town.

Sheffield United, freshly relegated from the Premier League, were said to be keen on bringing in the target man.

However, Hull Live is reporting that the Tigers, who are undergoing a squad rebuild after narrowly missing out on a Championship play-off place last season, have struck a deal to bring in the 31-year-old on a three-year deal.

Ipswich beat a host of Championship rivals to the expensive loan signing of Moore back on January transfer deadline day in an attempt to bolster their promotion push.

And the Welsh international, stepping in for the injured George Hirst, made his mark, scoring seven goals in 18 appearances to help the Blues clinch second spot.

Ipswich are close to sealing a £15m deal for Manchester City striker Liam Delap. The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at Hull.

The Blues are also trying to thrash out a deal to sign Hull duo Jacob Greaves and Jaden Philogene for around £35m.
