Hull City defender Jacob Greaves is set for a medical at Ipswich Town ahead of a potential move this summer.
In news first reported by The Athletic's David Ornstein, the 23-year-old centre-back, one of the best players in the second tier last season, has been given permission to have a medical at the Blues as Town look to sign him.
Left-footer Greaves was named in the Championship Team of the Season back in April and has played almost 180 games for the Tigers in the last four campaigns.
Town were said to have tabled a £30m bid for Greaves and team-mate Jaden Philogene last week.
Winger Philogene had been linked to Spanish giants Barcelona, but later revealed that he'd rather move to a Premier League club.
It's understood that talks are continuing between Hull and Town on that front, with Fabrizio Romano reporting earlier that the Blues, Everton and Crystal Palace had all agreed terms with the 22-year-old, who racked up 12 goals and six assists for the Tigers last term.
Town have made two signings so far this summer - paying an initial £18m, a club record, to Chelsea to bring exciting attacker Omari Hutchinson back to Suffolk, and adding free agent defender Ben Johnson after his contract expired at West Ham.
