Young defender Leon Elliott has signed a professional contract with Ipswich Town having left Crystal Palace this summer.
The 17-year-old is capable of playing anywhere across the defence and earned a scholarship with the Eagles last season, having come through their youth ranks.
Elliott was part of their side which won the U15 Southern Floodlit Cup in 2021/22 and were runner-ups in the national competition.
He was among the players to feature in episode five of the 2022 Channel Four documentary series Football Dreams: The Academy.
The youngster will likely link-up with John McGreal's Under-21s side for the upcoming 2024/25 season, with Town in need of a new academy manager after Dean Wright's departure last week.
Elliott announced on Instagram that he has joined the Blues - the first move for Town in the summer transfer window, which opened on Friday.
He wrote: "After a hard working 6 months I'm delighted to have officially signed my first professional contract at Ipswich Town."
