Ipswich Town academy manager Dean Wright has left the club.
Wright joined the Blues from rivals Norwich City in the summer of 2022, taking on a role previously fulfilled by Lee O'Neill.
The club has today announced he has chosen to leave his role by mutual consent. It's understood that a desire to be closer to family in the North West was behind the decision.
A statement reads: "Dean will always be welcome at Portman Road, with the club thanking him for his hard work and commitment during his time at Town and wishing him well for the future."
Ipswich are currently in the process of replacing Wright, with Blues chief executive Mark Ashton having recently revealed that the club is working towards gaining Category One academy status amid a multi-million pound upgrade of the Playford Road training facilities.
