Ipswich Town have confirmed their retained list following the conclusion of the 2023/24 campaign, which ended in promotion to the Premier League.

Attacker Kayden Jackson and versatile midfielder Dom Ball will both leave the club this summer, with their contracts set to expire.

Jackson joined Ipswich in 2018 as they were relegated from the Championship to League One. He featured for numerous different managers but played best under Kieran McKenna, helping the Blues to win back-to-back promotions from the third tier to the Premier League. He finishes his time at Portman Road with 28 goals from 199 appearances in all competitions.

Ball signed for Town from QPR in 2022, making 35 appearances in all competitions across two seasons - both of which ended in automatic promotion.

Manager Kieran McKenna said: "Kayden and Dominic have both been important members of a group which has achieved significant success over the last two seasons.

"Both have made vital contributions on the field and, off the pitch, have played central roles in developing a culture and setting standards which have been so important to the Club's progress. Their contributions to everything the Club has achieved should not be understated.

"I am certain both Kayden and Dominic will be real assets at whichever clubs they take the next steps in their careers and they will always be welcome at both Portman Road and Playford Road."

Panutche Camara will also depart, having spent last season on loan at League One side Charlton Athletic, while Nick Hayes has already agreed to join National League outfit Barnet.

Janoi Donacien’s contract has expired, however, he will continue his rehabilitation at Playford Road throughout the off-season and will return to pre-season training alongside the first-team squad as he builds towards a successful 2024/25 campaign.

Contract options have been taken on Christian Walton, Axel Tuanzebe, Cameron Burgess and Idris El Mizouni, keeping them at Portman Road for a further 12 months, while a contract offer has been made to goalkeeper Vaclav Hladky.

The 33-year-old previously spoke of his desire to stay at Portman Road after starting all 46 Championship games last season, keeping 14 clean sheets.
