The Premier League have confirmed the transfer window dates for the summer 2024 and winter 2025 transfer windows - with Ipswich Town expected to be active as they prepare for top-flight football after 22 years away.

The Blues secured automatic promotion from the Championship by beating Huddersfield Town on the final day of the season, finishing in second place behind Leicester City. One of Leeds United, Southampton, West Brom and Norwich City will join them via the play-offs.

It's since been confirmed that the summer transfer window will open on Friday, June 14th, and will close at 11pm BST on Friday, August 30th.

The winter window will open on Wednesday, January 1st 2025, and will close at 11pm GMT on Monday, February 3rd 2025.

A statement from the Premier League added: "To ensure harmonisation with the major leagues in Europe, the closing dates were set following discussions with the EFL, DFL, Serie A, LaLiga, and LFP, who will all close their Summer and Winter windows on 30 August and 3 February respectively."

The 2023/24 campaign will end this Sunday (May 19th), with Manchester City aiming to pip Arsenal to the title. Fixtures for next season, which will start on the weekend of August 17th, will be revealed on June 18th.
