Ipswich Town Women's manager Joe Sheehan said he is determined to come back next season "even more competitive" after finishing the season with a victory over Billericay Town.
Town defeated the Essex outfit at the AGL Arena in Felixstowe thanks to a first-half goal from Natasha Thomas.
This was Town's fourth win on the bounce.
Sheehan said: "To win four games is a positive.
"We didn't have a lot to play for this game, neither did they, but we had our own targets.
"There was a good attitude from the team considering we had nothing to play for.
"It wasn't the prettiest of games today, Billericay didn't make too much of a game of it with their strategy."

Town's season came to an end today, one that maybe hasn't gone the way the club would have liked.
Sheehan said: "We have to build on this next season, we want to be at the forefront of it.
"We've got a lot of work to do and we want to make sure we are going to be even more competitive next season."
There has been some highlights from the season, with Town playing their first-ever league game at Portman Road in front of over 10,000 people and beating Championship side Lewes 3-0 in the FA Cup.
There has also been highlights for individuals on the team, with Natasha Thomas netting her 150th goal for Town, as well as winning the league's golden boot, and Sophie Peskett being named the league's player of the year, with 12 goals and 20 assists to her name.
Sheehan added: "She's had an incredible season.
"She has been so consistent and that is really evident.
"She's trying really hard and obviously she got the numbers that support that and she will reap the rewards, which she richly deserves."
