Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna says his team will continue to deliver on their pre-season promise to themselves going into a crunch last week of the campaign.
The Blues head to ninth-place Coventry City tonight, then face all-but-relegated Huddersfield at Portman Road on Saturday lunchtime knowing that four more points will secure back-to-back automatic promotions into the Premier League.
Town took a major step towards League One promotion with a memorable Tuesday night 3-0 win at Barnsley this time last year, subsequently getting over the line with a 6-0 thrashing of Exeter at a joyous Portman Road.
"There are lots of parallels you can take in the two seasons - the points tally, now the two away games before we go back home," smiled McKenna, whose side led three times in a thrilling 3-3 draw at play-off chasing Hull City on Saturday night.
"The reality is these games are much harder though. Last year was hard, but these games are much harder. I'm not sure we're going to have too many 3-0s or 6-0s.
"But the group have been through this experience of a big three game week to try and achieve a big goal. They've handled it really well before and I think they're handling it really well at the moment.
"I can only comment on what I see and feel around the group. I don't see us playing with tension, which is important at this stage of the season. I see us playing with bravery, with confidence, with great intensity still.
"We're going to get the points that we're going to get at the end of the season. We've already got 90. We can't worry about any other teams (top-two rivals Leeds host out-of-form Southampton on Saturday).
"All we can do is what we said we would do at the very start and that's go absolutely all-in for 46 games and see where we're at come the end."
Tonight will be Coventry's fourth match in 10 days, one of those having been an FA Cup semi-final penalty shootout defeat against Manchester United after a dramatic 120 minute affair ended 3-3 at Wembley.
The Sky Blues know the highest they can finish is seventh, with Mark Robins unable to call upon centre-back Liam Kitching (suspended) and midfielder Ben Sheaf (Achilles).
"The objective is to get a result - hopefully a win - that keeps things under our control going into the last game," said McKenna.
"Coventry are an excellent side, no doubt about it. They've shown that in the cup and with their form in the league after the first quarter of the season.
"I'm sure they're going to want to finish off strong. They've got some players unavailable, but they've got a deep squad and I'm sure they'll be motivated to do well.
"We'll prepare as best we can and make sure we're ready to perform."
The Blues boss added: "It's been evident for a while now that we've got spirit, good characters, good leaders. It's a diverse group in terms of experiences and age, but they've come together really well and the supporters are right behind them.
"I don't think we're ever going to be caught short for the mental aspects of the game. It's now about pushing with everything we can now to keep performance levels high."
