One year ago today, Ipswich Town celebrated a memorable win at Barnsley. Ross Halls looks back to when we all started to believe Town's League One journey was finally over....
The game was initially postponed because of Greg Leigh's 'ghost call-up' by Jamaica, but it was rearranged when Kieran McKenna's side were within touching distance of promotion.

They travelled to Oakwell to face a side with an impressive record at home, having won nine games in a row heading into this clash - but the Tykes were simply dismantled by an inspired Ipswich team who were themselves on a incredible run.
The away end was packed with 5,000 Town fans, who were in store for a memorable night in Yorkshire with the Blues scoring two quick fire goals just before half-time.
First, Leif Davis’ delivery from the right was met beyond the near post by Nathan Broadhead and his glancing header squirmed past Barnsley keeper Harry Isted.
Then stand up George Hirst, who scored a goal for the ages to double the advantage in first half stoppage time.
He showed his strength and power to ragdoll Mads Andersen before finding himself clear on goal and emphatically drilling a 15-yard strike into the net to send a packed away end wild.
Town were awarded a penalty ten minutes after the restart and just like in the home game against Port Vale, the opposition deployed delaying tactics. Broadhead was again the man to step up, but his spot kick was saved by the keeper.
That livened up the Barnsley crowd and the atmosphere was heating up, but Ipswich players kept their heads and Conor Chaplin's 27th goal of the season made the points safe with ten minutes to go.
I still remember that third goal going in as the 5,000 travelling fans went wild - they surely felt promotion back to the Championship was happening and were dreaming of a party at Portman Road.
What a night it was and you can't forget Leigh's passionate final whistle reaction as Town made it 12 wins in a row and 17 matches unbeaten.
Of course, the Blues would go on to beat Exeter City 6-0 in the next game to clinch promotion back to the second tier to end their four years in League One.
And a year later we are all dreaming of what could happen in the next three games with the Blues heading to Hull City this Saturday and back-to-back promotions on the cards.
Are we going to have the same scenes as last year? We shall wait and see!
