Ipswich Town's kit plans are unaffected by today's news that sportswear brand Castore have struck a deal with Umbro, we understand.
Castore - who have manufactured kits for the likes of Rangers, Newcastle, Wolves, Aston Villa and Charlton - have announced that they have completed a deal with Umbro licensee GL Dameck to 'sign an exclusive Umbro Professional Team Sports sub-license'.
That will enable them to market the Umbro brand in the UK, as well as Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Holland and Denmark.
Umbro became Ipswich Town’s main kit supplier in 2022 on a four-year deal, though the club today has suggested there is now only one season remaining.
The Blues' kits for the 2024/25 season have long been signed off and will continue to be fully manufactured by Umbro.
