Ipswich Town battled hard to see out a 2-1 win away at Swansea City. Alex Jones provides his player ratings for the Blues.

Vaclav Hladky

Didn't look like there was much he could do about Jerry Yates' goal, but he got caught a little high up when the striker headed wide in the second half. He pulled off an incredible save to prevented Harry Darling's deflected shot from flying into the net, and he deserves credit for playing well in horrible conditions - which is never easy for goalkeepers. 8

Harry Clarke

You live by the sword, you die by the sword. Swansea targeted his side knowing that he'd push high up the pitch, and while that was where most of their open-play chances came from, they never had the beating of the two centre-backs. Wasn't as influential going forward. 7

Luke Woolfenden

Tested throughout. He dominated Swansea's attackers in the air and, barring a couple of moments which could be blamed on the conditions, he looked really sharp on the ball. 8

Cameron Burgess

Largely outstanding. Cleared pretty much everything Swansea threw at him, which was a lot in the second half. He's hit the ground running since returning from the Asian Cup, which he needed to do to displace George Edmundson. 9 (Man of the Match)

Leif Davis

12 assists for the season now, which is simply absurd. He works the cutbacks so well, and he continued to show how much he's improved defensively. Created the most chances and made the most tackles. 8

Sam Morsy

Great conditions for him to get stuck in and battle hard. Showed his determination to pounce on loose balls and showed real aggression. Excellent on the ball as usual. A standard Sam Morsy performance. 8

Massimo Luongo

Left the pitch covered in mud, which showed how much work he put in. Similar to Morsy, this was a game that suited him. Showed real tenacity. 8

Omari Hutchinson

Excellent work for the opener, showing his physicality to push past two defenders and play Nathan Broadhead through with an instinctual pass. He was lively throughout and constantly used as the outlet on the right. His decision making was almost spot on, and he deserves a lot of credit for his defensive work. 8

Conor Chaplin

A clinical finish to put Town back ahead, which came from a trademark cutback move. He had a chance to make it 3-1 shortly after the restart but couldn't take it. Unsurprisingly became a bit quieter in the second half as Swansea started to dominate possession. 8

Nathan Broadhead

Three goals in three games now, which shows how much his confidence has improved. A lovely dinked shot over Carl Rushworth to open the scoring. He looked really lively throughout. 8

Kieffer Moore

Held the ball up, used his physicality and rattled the crossbar. Aside from a goal, it was a pretty complete performance. Battled hard as a big presence in both boxes, which you always expect from him. 8

Sub: Marcus Harness (67')

Brought the ball forward when Town were under pressure, but didn't have a big impact. 6

Sub: Jeremy Sarmiento (67')

Looked sharp off the bench and should've scored, firing a low shot into Rushworth's hands. 6

Sub: Wes Burns (67')

Like Marcus Harness, he came on at a point when the momentum had swung, so he wasn't able to get the ball in the areas he wanted. 6

Sub: Ali Al-Hamadi (79')

Probably had the biggest impact of the substitutes. Ran hard and brought the ball into dangerous areas but just lacked that cutting edge. 7

Sub: Lewis Travis (83')

Offered fresh legs and a like-for-like replacement for Massimo Luongo. 6
