Boss Nathan Jones duly dropped him to the bench for last night's clash with Lincoln City, and Ladapo responded in style.
Having come on in the 71st minute with his side 1-0 down, Ladapo lashed home a superb strike from range to give Charlton a share of the points just two minutes later.
Boss Nathan Jones said: "Freddie has started five games and hadn’t scored and then I pulled him yesterday and said we might try something different – put him on the bench and then the game opens up a little and there is more space. What a decision that was."

Despite Ladapo's goal, the Addicks are now winless in 14 matches and sit just one place and one point above the drop zone.
They travel to third-place Bolton Wanderers on Saturday.
