He made over 70 appearances in all competitions for the Cods after joining from the Blues in January 2022.
On signing for Burton, he said: “I’ve been here for around 2 weeks now and I’ve been keeping fit, so I just want to get back playing.
“It’s an unbelievable dressing room here at Burton, probably one of the best I’ve been in – the lads are great to be around.
“My aim now is to play well, enjoy it, win football matches and help the club climb up the table.”
Nsiala made his debut for Martin Paterson's side in their 2-1 win at Bristol Rovers at the weekend and links up with former Town players Rekeem Harper and Mustapha Carayol.
In total, he made 78 appearances and scored one goal for Town between 2018 to 2022.
