Ross Halls looks at how Ipswich Town's loan players got on for their clubs this weekend....

IDRIS EL MIZOUNI 

The Tunisian midfielder played the full 90 minutes for Leyton Orient as they won 3-0 at League One leaders Portsmouth. 

Richie Wellens' side scored three half-time goals to secure their fourth win in six league games.

The O’s are now 10th in the third tier and return to action when they host another promotion chasing side in Bolton Wanderers next weekend. 

NICO VALENTINE AND EMMANUEL OKUNOWO

Valentine started and played 74 minutes for Needham Market as they won 1-0 at Halesowen Town in the Southern League Premier Central. 

Okunowo came on late in the game to make his debut for Kevin Horlock's side who had to score a 87th minute winner to claim all three points. 

The Marketmen are second in the table but level on points with league leaders Mickleover and return to action when they host Stratford Town at Bloomfields next weekend. 

NICK HAYES

The keeper played the full 90 minutes for Solihull Moors as they beat Nantwich Town 5-1 at home to progress to the fifth round of the FA Trophy. 

The Moors return to National League action when they travel to Halifax Town on Tuesday night.

JACK MANLY AND MICHAEL LAVIN

Manly started and played 84 minutes for Leiston as they were held to a goalless draw with Telford United in Southern League Premier Central. 

Lavin was an unused sub for the Blues as this draw lifts them back up to 15th in the table, eight points clear of fourth from bottom Alvechurch.

The Blues start the first of three home league games on the bounce when Halesowen Town visit Suffolk next weekend. 

FINLEY BARBROOK AND HENRY GRAY

The duo played the full 90 minutes for Chelmsford City as they were knocked out of the FA Trophy after losing 1-0 at home to Wealdstone.

Robbie Simpson's side were facing a higher opposition who played in the National League and conceded in the second half to exit in the third round. 

The Clarets return to league action when they travel to Farnborough next weekend. 

DANNY CULLUM, JESSE AYOOLA AND BEN HADDOCH

The trio played the full 90 minutes for Ipswich Wanderers as they won 1-0 at Basildon United in the Isthmian League North Division. 

Haddoch scored a 85th minute winner on his debut for Glen Driver's side to end their eight game winless run in the league. 

The Wanderers are on their travels again when they visit Redbridge on Tuesday night.

MATT WARD

The youngster's loan has been extended with National League South side Braintree Town until March. 

Ward has made 14 appearances and scored three goals so far since he joined the Essex side in November. 

The Iron didn't have a game this weekend but return to action when they host Weymouth on Tuesday night. 

OSMAN FOYO

The young attacker started and played 51 minutes for Torquay United as they were knocked out of the FA Trophy after losing 2-0 at Hereford. 

Gary Johnson's side will now switch their focus to league action when they host Dover Athletic next weekend. 

In other news, former Town player Dylan Crowe has left the Gulls to sign for National League North side King’s Lynn Town on a permanent move. 

SETH O'NEILL AND PAUL MOODIE

Moodie made his debut and played the full 90 minutes for ten-man Stowmarket Town as they were beaten 4-3 at home to New Salamis in the Isthmian League North Division. 

O'Neill was not involved for the Old Gold & Blacks as they conceded a 90th minute goal to extended their run of 20 games without a win in the league. 

They will look to find their first win of the season when they host 17th place Enfield at Greens Meadow on Tuesday night. 

CAMERON STEWART

The young defender was an unused sub for Cove Rangers as they lost 2-0 at Hamilton Academical in the Scottish League One. 

Paul Hartley's side fell to a second successive defeat in a game which saw both sides reduced to ten men.

The Toonsers switch their focus to Scottish Cup action when they travel to Brora Rangers in the fourth round next weekend.

EX-BLUES CORNER

Will Keane scored twice for Preston as they beat Bristol City 2-0 at Deepdale in the Championship. The forward has eight goals in 21 games so far this season. 

Ryan Fraser was among the scorers for Southampton as they beat Sheffield Wednesday 4-0 at home to equal a club-record run of 19 games unbeaten. 

Ellis Harrison scored a 97th minute winner for MK Dons as they won 1-0 at Tranmere Rovers. 

Macauley Bonne came off the bench for Gillingham to score the winner in their 2-1 win at Accrington Stanley in League Two. His fifth goal in 29 games. 

David McGoldrick netted a brace for Notts County as they played out an astonishing 5-5 draw with Grimsby Town at Blundell Park in the fourth their. 

James Norwood scored a 90th minute penalty for Oldham Athletic but was knocked out of the FA Trophy after losing 2-1 at home to Hendon. 

Dominic Thompson has joined League Two side Forest Green Rovers from Blackpool on loan until the end of the season.

James Alabi has joined National League South side Bath City until the end of the season after his release from Maidstone United last summer.
