Kyle Edwards has thanked Ipswich Town for their 'continued support' following his departure from the club.

The winger, who joined from West Brom in 2021, made 63 appearances for the club in total, helping them to secure promotion from League One.

However, with Nathan Broadhead and Marcus Harness ahead of him in the pecking order, opportunities were clearly limited. He was sent out on loan to Oxford United, but his spell was cut short to allow him to recover from a hamstring injury.

Manager Des Buckingham revealed that he would remain at the club for his rehabilitation, with Ipswich confirming that an agreement had been reached for his contract to be terminated.

Edwards has since taken to X (also known as Twitter) to thank everyone associated with Town as he prepares to take the next step in his career.

"My time at Ipswich has come to an end and just wanted to thank everyone involved with the club for making Ipswich a home," he said.

"Thank you to the Staff, Players and the Fans for the continued support for the past few years.

"Wish Ipswich all the best in the future."
