Ipswich Town booked their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup with a 3-1 win away at AFC Wimbledon. Alex Jones provides his player ratings for the Blues.
Christian Walton
Made a fantastic save to deny Armani Little but had little to do other than. Looked fine playing out from the back, but he had no chance with Jake Reeves' superb penalty. 7
Axel Tuanzebe
Was in the right place at the right time to score his first senior goal, but he didn't look overly comfortable at right-back. Coming in quite narrow, he allowed Wimbledon's left flank quite a lot of space to cause issues, particularly in the first half. 6
Luke Woolfenden
Excellent on the ball with a few nice moments defensively. Stepped up when Town were under the cosh and was really good positionally. Had a goal ruled out for offside. Another good showing. 7
George Edmundson
Brave defensively and offered a real physical presence at the back. Nullified aggressive players like Harry Pell, drawing the second yellow card to get him sent off. He's really showing that he can step up. 7
Cameron Humphreys
Defended well and offered quite a bit going forward. Forced a great save from Alex Bass and didn't look at all out of place at left-back. 7
Sam Morsy
Occasionally et Wimbledon have good space to attack Town's back line, but he looked really good on the ball. Some fantastic turns and nice passes, creating the third goal with a through ball to Wes Burns. Will be a huge miss now he's suspended. 7
Jack Taylor
Really good to see him on the scoresheet, but he had a pretty tough time other than that. Some poor passes and heavy touches were frustrating at times. Handball looked harsh, but did lead to a penalty. 6
Omari Hutchinson
Let down by his decision making. Worked his way into space with class and quality on the ball, but had too many moments where he chose to shoot instead of pass. Deserves credit for his defensive work. 6
Marcus Harness
Wasn't afforded a lot of space but had some bright moments. Let down by a flew sloppy passes, but linked play together nicely and combined well with Jeremy Sarmiento in the second half. 7
Nathan Broadhead
Exceptional at times. Town found the first half pretty tough at times, but Nathan Broadhead caused all the problems for Wimbledon. His quality really lifted them at crucial moments, be that for the opening goal, the way he turned into space or for the quality of his set pieces. He certainly lost a bit of that when he moved up top. 8 (Man of the Match)
Freddie Ladapo
Had chances to work with but did nothing with them. Really felt like he needed to run and challenge a little more. His early withdrawal probably speaks volumes about his future beyond this month. 5
Sub: Jeremy Sarmiento (57')
Didn't really look like a new signing because he linked up so well. Had some good chances to do damage in the final third but just lacked a bit of sharpness. Some really bright moments - hopefully more to come. 6
Sub: Wes Burns (81')
Was it a shot? Was it a cross? It caused all sorts of problems in the Wimbledon box. It was his only real moment in the game, but it helped Ipswich kill it off late on. 6
Sub: Sone Aluko (81')
