Ipswich Town are closing in on the loan addition of winger Jeremy Sarmiento from Brighton & Hove Albion.
The 21-year-old - capped 13 times by Ecuador - scored two goals in seven starts and 14 sub appearances for Championship rivals West Brom during the first half of this season.
Brighton recently triggered a recall clause option in that loan and it's been reported by Ecuadorian journalist Maria Jose Flores that he will join Ipswich until the end of the season, with the Blues having the option to extend that loan until for another year if they achieve promotion to the Premier League.

Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has backed up that report and we understand a deal is likely to be announced tomorrow.
Capable of playing in any of the support roles behind the main striker, Sarmiento was primarily used on the left by West Brom. He scored a stunning strike at Cardiff to secure a 1-0 win in late November.
Born in Madrid to Ecuadorian parents, Sarmiento moved to England at the age of seven and came through Charlton's academy, representing England from U16 to U18 level .
After a spell at Portuguese club Benfica he signed for Brighton in 2021 before going away to World Cup in Qatar to represent Ecuador. His Premier League debut followed and, come the end of last season, he had two starts and 12 sub appearances in the top-flight to his name.
Town boss Kieran McKenna has said he wants to bolster his attack as soon as possible this month, adding 'goalscorers in their different guises', following a long-term injury to striker George Hirst and Tottenham recalling forward Dane Scarlett.
As first reported by the EADT and Ipswich Star last month, Fulham striker Jay Stansfield is among Town's targets.
