Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna was left frustrated after skipper Sam Morsy's 'nonsense' booking at Middlesbrough, which leaves him on the verge of a two-game ban.

"That was the only frustration from the game to be honest," McKenna said after the game. "I thought it was a nonsense yellow.

Asked if he had a decision to make about resting Morsy at Vicarage Road on Tuesday night, in order to protect him for next weekend's East Anglian derby in Suffolk, the Blues boss admitted: "I've not thought about it much, to be honest. It happened 10 minutes ago.

"My main thought going into Tuesday night is that it's a really tough game and we've got to try and perform as well as we possibly can. That aspect will probably fall into that category."
