Ross Halls looks at how Ipswich Town's loan players got on for their clubs this midweek...

GASSAN AHADME

The forward has a new manager at Cambridge United as Neil Harris has been appointed the League One side's new head coach on an 18-month contract.

He succeeds Mark Bonner, who was sacked last month after almost four years in charge. His first game will be a trip to Charlton Athletic on Saturday.

Ahadme has scored five goals in 21 games for the U's so far, scoring in their most recent game as they beat Fleetwood Town 4-0 in the FA Cup. They currently sit 18th in the third tier.

MATT WARD AND HARRY BARBROOK

The young winger Ward played the full 90 minutes for Braintree Town in their 1-1 draw with Hampton & Richmond Borough in the National League South.

Barbrook came on as a sub in the 89th minute with the Essex side 1-0 up thanks to a goal from former Town attacker Reggie Lambe, but the Middlesex side scored from the spot deep into stoppage to claim a point.

The Iron return to action next Monday as they travel to Hashtag United in the fourth round of the Essex Senior Cup.

CORRIE NDABA

The Irishman played the full 90 minutes for Kilmarnock as they won 1-0 at Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership.

Derek McInnes' side secured their first away win of the season thanks to a 92nd minute winner from 18-year-old David Watson which pushes them into the top six in the table.

Ndaba completed his second full 90 minutes since returning from his ankle injury and will want to add to his minutes as Killie host league leaders Celtic at Rugby Park.

NICO VALENTINE

The young attacker is yet to make his debut for Needham Market after he suffered an injury in his first training session after signing for the club on November 22nd.

He has since missed three games for the Marketmen, who went top of the Southern League Central Premier Division table following a 2-1 home win over Leamington on Tuesday.

Valentine is close to a return as Kevin Horlock's side host Suffolk rivals Leiston on Saturday at Bloomfields.

They sit 16th in the table and have two current Town players on loan there in the form of Jack Manly and Finlay Corrigan.

BEN HADDOCH AND SETH O'NEILL

The young duo played the full 90 minutes for Stowmarket Town as they lost 3-1 at Walthamstow in Isthmian League North Division.

The Suffolk club are still without a league win this season as they sit bottom of the league after losing 11 of their 13 games played so far.

They host Enfield Town at Greens Meadow this weekend, who were thrashed 7-2 by fellow Suffolk club Bury Town last Sunday.
