Ipswich Town youngster Nico Valentine has joined Suffolk-based non-league side Needham Market on loan.
The 18-year-old is a regular for the Blues’s under-21’s side. He signed his first pro deal in October last year, having been at the club since the under-8’s. He also featured for the first team in pre-season
Valentine is a pacy forward who can play anywhere across the front three and spent time on loan at Bury Town last season.
He joins a Needham side who are managed by former Town midfielder Kevin Horlock. They currently sit second in Southern League Premier Central.
He will look to make his debut this weekend as the Marketmen host Bromsgrove Sporting at Bloomfields.
