Former Ipswich Town full-back Jonas Knudsen is set to depart Malmo after they were named Swedish Champions for the 23rd time.
The 31-year-old left Town at the end of the 2018/19 season, allowing him to join the Allsvenskan side on a free transfer a few weeks later.
He went on to win three league titles and a domestic cup, although he suffered a cruciate ligament injury in the summer of 2021 that ruled him out for most of the campaign.
Knudsen has since recovered from his injury, but he has not managed to regain his place in the starting eleven due to a new manager coming in and competition in his position.
Malmo won the 2023 Allsvenskan title after beating title rivals Elfsborg 1-0 at home, helping them to win the league on goal difference.
They then announced via their official website that Knudsen will leave the club when his contract expires at the turn of the year, having made over 100 appearances for the club.
He spent four seasons at Portman Road, joining the Blues from Danish club Esbjerg fB in the summer of 2015.
Nicknamed 'Mad Dog', he became a popular figure with supporters, playing 155 games for Town and scoring four goals - including two against Norwich.
