Relegation-threatened Rotherham United have sacked manager Matt Taylor after a 5-0 thrashing at Watford.
The Millers occupy 22nd place in the table, with the result at Vicarage Road leaving them four points adrift of safety and just one point ahead of QPR below them.
Taylor, who was appointed last season after Paul Warne left the club to join Derby County, has won two of his 16 league games this season.
Rotherham did, however, take a point off Ipswich Town, drawing 2-2 in a rearranged game at the New York Stadium thanks to a stoppage-time equaliser from Christ Tiehi.
Taylor becomes the seventh Championship manager to be sacked or resign since the start of the season. Chairman Tony Stewart has reportedly already drawn up a list of potential replacements, with the bookies highlighting Gary Rowett as the early frontrunner ahead of Chris Wilder, Karl Robinson, John Eustace, Gary Monk, Neil Warnock and Nathan Jones.
