Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna says the club will have to wait and see if defender Brandon Williams is well enough to head to Rotherham tomorrow night.
The all-action full-back, who's scored twice in 12 games this season since arriving on loan from Manchester United, missed Saturday's trip to Birmingham through illness, with Harry Clarke starting in his place.
Asked how Williams was, McKenna told TownTV earlier: "He was a little bit better yesterday but he still hasn’t trained yet so we’ll have to assess how he is today, whether he’s going to make it in time to travel for this one or not – we’ll have to wait and see.”
Town's boss also praised another loanee, forward Dane Scarlett, for his showing in the 2-2 draw at Birmingham.
The Tottenham loanee hasn't seen significant action yet, but had his best game in a Town shirt as he came off the bench to create problems and have a hand in both Blues' goals.
McKenna enthused: “He had some really nice moments coming on in that little slot just off Freddie (Ladapo), some really good impactful moments.
“Of course he was involved in the goals but had some other good moments as well.
“A good thing for him to build on.”
